Havtil is presenting the results of its RNNP 2025 survey on Wednesday, 25 March, with registration having closed today. The published report will follow shortly after.
The RNNP: Trends in Risk Level in the Petroleum Activity is a comprehensive industry-wide safety survey. It monitors major accident risk, working environment risk, and the risk of acute spills across the Norwegian continental shelf, drawing on incident data, barrier test results, maintenance indicators, and large-scale questionnaire surveys of offshore employees. Havtil The results feed directly into Havtil’s supervisory priorities and regulatory development work, which makes them worth reading beyond the headline numbers.
The 2025 survey was conducted between October and November last year, covering all offshore and onshore employees across facilities and installations. Havtil Previous editions have flagged rising maintenance backlogs and a persistent increase in chemical spill incidents as areas of concern. It will be worth watching whether this year’s data shows any change in those trends.
