Like I said, I am revisiting the RIS505 course material while trying out new AI tools to see how they have improved and whether they are any good at helping me study.
I was really surprised by how well NotebookLM has become. It generated an excellent video. Yet, as always, AI should only be used as a tool. And that is why I give some critical reflections on this video at the end.
In this video, the probabilities are described as ‘the’ tool for measuring uncertainty, which is at least inaccurate. A risk definition of probabilities and consequences is still common in practice. But in contemporary risk analysis, we include a broader view of uncertainty. In the risk description used at UIS, uncertainties are described as a combination of probability AND strength of knowledge (Sok).
